Is it a full size tower? Use the old 2 tb drive as a slave.

no shxt, its one of those mini dells, only room for one drive. I have a image and a worthless fabs backup

Nada, looked everywhere! I just came from fabs forum, someone else just had the same experience, maybe should post about it. Fabs replied to them but said it happens when using ver 6 to backup and ver 7 to recover, not the case, used only ver 7 pro. I'm hoping to hear back from him before I start manually copying files.

If it was me I'd check the image before going any further. Could certainly be a fabs problem but could be a drive problem as well.
