I think we don't have to worry much about global warming when mega droughts are starting, i thought where i live it was going to be cool and wet like last year soon as earth got hit by multiple MCE's the weather changed drastically now it's hot and very dry ,dryer than i have seen in 50 years lawns are going brown and leaves a shriveling.
Out west in Canada it is to the extreme it is so bad farmers can't plant corn to feed farm animals and some farmers which never needed irrigation have to resort to using it.
Other parts of the world are seeing same there are always cycles of good weather, ice ages and drought last major drought was french revolution famine was common across much of Europe.

Wow the drought in Vancouver is pretty bad Level 4 use to be it use to rain all the time and broke rainfall records years ago now you can't water your lawn.
Food production is way down this year due to lack of rain lucky if you see rain for more than a week here now then again it just sprinkle.
Rainfall here:
Rainfall July 2014 : 91mm
rainfall July 2015 : 45mm
Last year one day in august 181mm fell
river that runs through the city is so low you can walk in it most places are a few mm deep never seen it that low and lawns are all turning brown leaves on trees are shriveling.

Most places in North America are experiencing drought conditions.
