MoCa network extenders question

I recently became aware of these Actiontec WCB6200Q devices and have set one up via coax to the other end of the house. From there I connected a wired switch to the extender for wired devices on that side of the house. Everything is working perfectly.

My question is can I use a second WCB6200Q as an access point connected via ethernet instead of coax? or can these only be used via the coax connection?

When you set it up...did you see an ethernet port on the back? If so....answer is probably "yes". If not...if you NEED to connect it to ethernet, you'll have to get a separate coax to ethernet bridge...and put that in between your ethernet cable and the WCB unit.

So I have 2 of these units. The first one is connected to my Verizon router via coax and one ethernet port is connected to a switch that feeds my wired devices. This works perfect as it should.

I want to take the second unit and put it in another area of the house that doesnt have wifi and connect it via ethernet to the jack in that room (there is no coax in that area but there is cat6) to add wifi and possibly use the second ethernet port to add a wired device.

To configure the second router as an AP usually you just need to turn off the DHCP server on that box, make sure the AP is setup, then connect the 2 boxes on LAN ports.
