For the life of us we can not figure out an issue with MS Refurbisher Program. WE have been a MS Refurbisher for about 8 years. Yesterday we had a customer bring in an older Dell desktop with Windows 7 Pro refurbished sticker on it. It was a dead hard drive. We installed a new HDD and loaded Windows 7 Pro (32) Refurbisher OS. Now we are stuck - we did not do the original installation. We tried to search the MS Refurbisher site for the product key using the COD off of the refurbisher sticker - no results. Any ideas? Thanks!!!!

You can only search ones you refurbished through the portal.
If someone else did it, you would need to contact them to get the key.

Any chance the drive is good enough to try and pull the key? Or is it completely dead?

Nope - drive is kaput. That what I thought - only our installs. Looks like Windows 10 is coming his way!!!

(P.S. From Council Bluffs originally)

I guess it worked out well. We sold him a refurbished unit with Windows 10 but he also gained a 4 GB system - his old one was 1GB w/Win7. Still I agree with Jerry - no PKs suck on the COAs.
