Only if you were able to fix the password issue of the said MS acount.Wouldn't I then be able to login to locked out MS account?

PCUnlocker won't work either since this is a Microsoft Account with the password not saved locally.
Incorrect. PCUnlocker really does unlock microsoft account logins. It does it by forcing the login to local account. So then you can login to the same user profile, no need to create another local account at all.
I wasn't replying to you. My post quotes Fred. And it's also incorrect, as I stated earlier

I didn't mention password storage local or otherwise, so I'm still not sure why you responded to my post in that way. Twice now.. Certain things, when quoted later, still require a response
Here is a question, If the user does not have the needed credentials to reset the MS account for whatever reason, How would be able to use the MS account again even after you reset it to local?OK, fair enough. I was focused on Fred's comment that PCUnlocker won't work on Microsoft accounts, and explaining how it works because others in this thread seem to think a new local account would be needed.

The account is forced to local without password. The PC is therefore unlocked and the user can login to user profile and all their library folders and settings etc are retained in place. How would be able to use the MS account again even after you reset it to local?
What do you mean, doesn't multi-quote?
Recovery of a MS forgotten account password, or gmail for that matter, can indeed be painful. We can only point our customers to the password recovery options via browser. But I don't understand why you'd nuke a system when you can just force the login account to local to unlock the computer (using PCUnlocker).Well be welcome to a whole new world of MS recovery...I would backup all data, N&P then setup to local account. Then restore data.
