Hi guys, tacking on more this week of some oddball issues I have found with New Outlook. I helped a client this past week and we could not get MS Access to emailfrom New Outlook. The client really loves New Outlook so I created a solution for him that works but not through New Outlook.
I launched Outlook Classic, pinnned to his task bar. Set all defaults to New Outlook and since his email is IMAP, both versions will sync his email. Now he can still send using Outlook Classic and the email will show up in New Outlook. This is the best solution for him as Access and New Outlook might not ever talk due to some VBA requirements. I did research a bit and saw it online after I offered this.
Not sure of his game plan for EOL but we will get there at that time.
