About to cough up and buy a metrovac for £90 :(

Anyone used something like a powerful airbed pump? I don't have an air compressor either, but it would be useful to have something portable for on site.

Shall I just go for it? :(

Thanks

I've been using a Datavac Air Duster for a couple of years.
Got it here http://www.mrpcclean.co.uk/datavac-electric-duster-ed500-p-261.html
Works great, very powerful BUT it never runs for more than 5 minutes at a stretch and maybe 4-5 times per day. Very portable BTW

Yeh looking at that one from mr pc clean. Only place in the UK which means they can get away with a £90 inc vat price tag

Another +1 for the Datavac. Yes its expensive, but saves you at least a can of air a week.

Been using mine now for a couple of years, and swear by it.

I've had my Metrovac for a couple months now. This one: http://www.amazon.com/Metro-Vacuum-ED500-500-Watt-Electric/dp/B001J4ZOAW

I liked it right off the bat. Rugged, powerful, portable, long power cord. Works very well. Only complaint - it's loud. But I guess you can't pack that much power in such a small package without giving up something.

It's worth the money.

I'll 2nd this one.

Man, do they BLOW! LOL

Makes compressed air can flow seem like a little breeze.

Be careful, it WILL blow things off.

Been using for 3 years, no issues.

Remember to clean the filter on the bottom, it gets clogged pretty quick.
