I have a new client using an Intel P3 Xeon 2.5 ghz, 4 gigs of memory, XP SP3 as a file server. All they really do on the thing is just run the QB database server and Peachtree database server. I am constantly seeing memory usage going really high on this machine, from 20 pages/second to sometimes 100+ pages/second. It is set up as a 32 bit machine so adding more ram would seem to be a waste, but not sure if there is any other tweaks I might be able to do to get more performance out of the system. They are only sharing their QB database with 3 users and their Peachtree database with 2 users.
