Hey All,

Which Malwarebytes product do most of you use to clean out customers' infected systems? I understand there is no liveCD or USB version available, so how do you get around that?

Is anyone using the Technician's version that does come on USB stick?

thanks

I've looked into Techbench, but in initial research it looks like it's $500. Whoopie, it's portable and comes on a flash drive... Is that worth $500? I just download a new version of MalwareBytes free on my USB stick when it's available, load it up on my client's computer and away I go. If it won't install, RKill, rename the install file, etc, etc... I seriously don't think $500/year for a "free" product just to avoid having to install it is worth it.

Does the Techbench version do something that the free version doesn't?

Its nothing special, I have it and won't be renewing, the drive has a habit of breaking so I need to keep requesting a new one. In fact the only thing it does is offline updates really, and you can do this with a USB drive and the standard version or with d7.

What other license agreements do you violate?

Using the free version is against the EULA in a repair environment.
