MAC iso

Gotcha. One of the nice things about Mac OS vs Windows is that not a lot of significant stuff changes from version to version. If you were a user of Snow Leopard from 2009 you could sit down at a computer with Catalina from 2019 and everything is laid out almost exactly the same and you'd be able to navigate and be productive right away.

I'm in a similar position but now have two mac mini and an imac (all picked up cheap ) and am s l o w ly picking up up mac somethings are the same (ish) many different keep digging Bo

Hackintoshing a PC is basically down to either your really willing to spend a long, long time learning, tweaking, testing... and make trade offs in features that work, somewhat work, and do not work at all.... also maybe older versions of OSX.

If you want to go the hackintosh route, research a known prebuilt that works out of the box for the most part with a newer version of OSX. Otherwise, use a part list to build a machine known to have mostly full support of a newer version of OSX.

The best thing to do would probably be pick up a cheap, realtively modern, mac mini or equivalent.
