Hello all. The title pretty much says it all. I am looking to purchase some polos with my company logo on them. Which companies have you guys (and gals) had success with? Thanks. :)

Try local if you can, certain things are just better done in person. That said, if your area is anything like mine, then you are surrounded by a bunch of nedneck halftards that do not know how to use the equipment or computers set up for their job and have no ability to properly apply any graphics or logos . . . sorry bad experiences for me both on sign making and polos. I am now dealing with another local company that will hopefully be more competent than the last (now out of business).

Thanks for the replies so far. I think I am going to have to at least seriously consider Queensboro. I may also have a look at the local embroiderers around my way. There is a few.

I'll second a vote for logoup.com - have had great luck with their polo's, tshirts, and ball caps.

Very well satisfied with Queensboro here. If I remember right, my last 4 shirt order, logo and all was around $60 shipped.

How do you guys justify the extra cost with local business? I'd love to support local, but the price diff is insane.
For example: I had a small banner made up on nice heavy vinyl. something like 24" x 48" I believe. Purchased online at signchief or something like that, total cost including shipping $40. Local shop wanted some crazy price like $380

+1 on Queensboro.

They always have something on sale. Signup on their mailing list, wait for a week or two for special discount. I recently order Nike Polo Shirt for $15 each. Regular are more than $65 (I can't remember the exact price.)

Excellent quality!

If it isn't too costly, I would recommend using local businesses for everything possible. It gives you a chance to network and possible gain them as a customer of yours.

Agreed....just like having print jobs done, flyers, business cards, sales material, etc.

Plus...you get to see what different shirts they use with your eyes, and you can touch those shirts with your bare hands, getting an idea of the material, quality, etc. And you can see examples of their work...ink, embroidery, etc. You know 100% exactly what you're getting before you place that order.

And it's just good business to spread your business local. Good karma.
I'm a firm believer in doing this. I've had work come to me from this...you're more likely to get business in return.

Do you like your customers to outsource their IT to overseas IT? After all, it's cheaper..isn't it?

Try another local sign place. That seems a bit extreme, I bet my local sign guy wouldn't be over 100 bucks for that...probably not over 60.

Business cards even....we had some very very high quality custom biz cards done...used a local guy, ~40 bucks per 1,000. Thick stock, semi gloss, custom logo that we went back 'n forth with him a dozen times with for proofs....custom print on the back side. The prior guy we used a few years ago, local, was almost 300 bucks for that same order....so yeah local guys can vary in price, but keep shopping, you can find other local places.

yep we are $52.99/1,000, $77.99/5,000 4/4 UV 14 or 16pt paper..... we use to be a bit cheaper but usually we have to horse around with the graphics so we raised the price a bit plus then we can actually give discounts for non-profits and current customers.

Banners we are at $2 - $3/sqft ... for that one it'd have been $30 (we have a $25 min. order on vinyl). our 10' x 10' banners are just $199 delivered... so that's only $1.99/sqft.

Update

The polos that I ordered from Queensboro came in last night and they look amazing. I chose the Nike Dr-Fit polos. The material that they are made from is very light. I am very pleased. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I will be suggesting Queensboro from now on!
