looking for an employee/parental monitoring application

@Kevin... I build my own. The appliances are very nice but for the price point they are selling for, I'd probably go with a different option. YeOldeStoneCat has used the appliances (I think). So he would be good to ask about that part.

As for what I use... it depends on the size and scope of the network. Most of the time its a dual core with 2GB RAM. Sometimes I go quad core with 4GB RAM. Always gigabit NICs. Always works great.

I agree that their appliances are quite high. I was mostly just curious how you spec'ed them out.

I use TimeSnapper. I Did Enterprise O/S support at a call center, and ran it on my workstation.
I have used it a few times when customers say "the computer is deleting my files".

Also Have used it after "the computer deleted the files" to print out a legal brief, and have it retyped.

Quite a nice little program.
