Looking for a disk clone utility that is user friendly

I use Acronis when I have to, but much prefer Drive Snapshot. Simple interface, runs within Windows, quick enough that I run it on most machines before I start working on them.

As a technician, you really should be asking which is most effective and has the highest success rate. Don't let the difficulty of a program keep you from using what really works. I personally use DD for all my cloning. DD will even clone bad hard drives and keep trying over and over again (as many times as you specify) till it gets everything possible.

Did you mean DDRescue or dd (unix)?

Ive used clonezilla, its pretty easy but if its for a client not user friendly for them. I like being able to save and install the images to and from a server. Quick and easy and hasnt failed me yet.

toptenreviews is not a neutral "review" site FYI...they're affiliate driven....the higher payer wins, and it's all about clicks and affiliate links and driving money.

Are you absolutely sure about that? Site your source, please.

In any case, I dont see any claim about the motivation for the ranks.

What it does provide is a features matrix, which is relevant to the question.

Even if you take the 'outcomes' with a grain of salt, there is the objective fact of each application's ability to perform to the criteria.
