Does anyone have any recommendations for a simple ticket tracker and pos to use with our repair business? I have been using pcrepairtracker but there is a lot more going on then i need. I basically just want something simple that will let me input the customer information, keep track of repair status and be able to check them out in the same system.

Looking for something on the cheaper end as i only get about 30-50 tickets a month. Thanks!

most of the programs have some kind of free trial. They all have their benefits and issues. You have to try then to see which works best for your particular business.

I use PC Repair Tracker too, it works great as it is self hosted I know it will work for ever and I have complete control over all the data.

I will have to put my Vote in for RepairShopr.com. We have been using it for over two years at two locations and I have liked it a lot better then Mhelpdesk, Very easy to use and a lot of functionality with it.

I came across a new one to me yesterday Repair Pilot http://www.repairtrackingsoftware.com/support/

I actually work for Shaun who developed Repair Pilot http://www.repairtrackingsoftware.com/support

I manage his shop now that he has moved onto software/web developing.
Repair Pilot was originally known as TrackIt however someone already owned the name, so he had to change it.

I use it daily in the shop I run, and I find it extremely simple to use and it makes my life easier. I've helped him with ideas as he's progressed it, and he is constantly working on changes.

I'll have a word with him to see if I can get you an extended free trial or something to allow you to test it out. It does come with a free months trial anyhow, so that might be enough.

PM me if you do decide to go ahead with the trial and I'll have a word.
