Hey TN! Finally got a logo for my company. Let me know what you think!

Admin, realized I posted in wrong section. Any chance you can move it? Thanks

Eyeballing the logo right away the size of the company name text is a little on the small side, is hard to make out in relation to the size of the city skyline silhouette.

When I create a logo the first and most important thing is the name of the company, a nice graphic is nice also but readability is critical. I envision the logo on a bill board or van or store sign, if people are driving by the name needs to pop.

My 2 cents. :)

Does it really convey the idea that you're a computer shop?

Think about all the adverts in magazines; people will flick through (not reading the text) and will just glance at the logo's & images. If they like that see or see something useful to them, they'll read on

Thanks a lot for all the input! TopLevelComp, what font would you suggest? I'll ask my designer to enlarge the font. iisjman07, the area I'm located in is very "chic"....from looking at the successful businesses around here I think the more contemporary and sleek your logo the more able you can attract the growing, younger crowd in Grosse Pointe.

If you think the logo is appropriate then that's great, it's just a little odd to see a computer repair advert that doesn't have a computer or something similar on it :).

I was thinking "Detroit Technical Computer Services" is quite a lot of text to deal with for a logo. Have you thought about doing something like what AT&T or TWA or NCAA did, abbreviating part of it? Like - see attached.

You sir, are awesome. I didn't even give that a thought. You are my new hero!:D

I like the top one. The middle one looks like the words were put in as an afterthought and the bottom one is messing with the simple design.

Personally I think the first one you posted was the best. The text size in the revised logos seems too big for the skyline image.
