Local Staples wiped clients drive, any recourse for them?

Well... unless you have millions to burn on a huge store and advertising apparently. Staples and Best Buy have been doing this crap for decades, and people are still stupid enough to use them.

Ignorance, brand recognition (and mislaid trust), and paths of least resistance (and work doing any research) all come into play. I actually have a number of clients who are former clients of said establishments.

True enough, I say if I had a dime for every time they screwed up I'd be wealthy... But I get much MORE than a dime every time they screw up and I'm certainly not. But still, it's constant enough.

Most of the cell phone repair places are the same, paying crap hourly wages for high school kids with almost no skill or training to fix things. And then everyone wonders why they lose everything.

Of course, when trying to get a $400 laptop repaired on the cheap, little else makes any financial sense either. All of this is why I got out of residential work. Too much liability, too little profit.
