Lidl Toolbox Offer (Irish offer):

Blimey, how many tools/bits of kit/"it might come in useful" do you plan to carry?!

I would seriously question the need to carry that around for computer repairs. A single big hammer should suffice if that's your approach.

I carry all the tools I need in my briefcase (3 various screwdrivers, a torch, some cable ties, a couple of USB hard drives and a clutch of up-to-date CDs). The most important and most used is now on my key-ring in the shape of a USB memory stick.

Over the past year my 'man's' toolbox has only left the boot of the car for cable drops.

Seriously, take a good look at where the computer repair business now is - hardware fix-its will not earn you a living.

At my old job, I had to fill in for an on-site tech a few times.
I carried around his toolbox that looked exactly like that, only twice as big. It was NOT a fun experience. The guy had tons of parts, multiple cards, software, etc in it. Then, to top it off, he had another small toolbox attached with bungies for his actual tools!

As the above poster points out, there is room for lots of hardware (testing and sales) in the bottom section (router, cables, cards, etc). And of course the smaller section will clip off, where I personally store 5 copies of each size screwdriver (among all the other crap). Better have four extra, than one missing.

But to each his own.
