Honestly, just watch the video, it describes my problem.
What have you tried so far?Honestly, just watch the video, it describes my problem.

Any flickering when entering the bios for example? or at pre-windows boot?
Also for that type of video I would of killed off the back light to get a clearer view.
Also booting in safe mode might give more information.

It does it in BIOSWhat have you tried so far?
It does it in BIOS
BIOS version IMKT15AUS
I've tried loading BIOS defaults, no change.
I have not tried safe mode because it happens with the Lenovo logo at first boot, so I believe it to be hardware related.
I have opened the device up and checked the cables. the backlight cable and video data cable (LVDS if you will) are both in good condition and have been reseated, all looks good.
My hunch is power cord is not delivering enough power, or the back light controller is going bad?
It's an all-in-one, so it has to have AC power plugged in.Sometimes go with your hunch. Does it get better if you giggle the connection? If yes maybe replace the adapter port?
What if you change the brightness to be the same with or without the AC adapter connected?
It's an all-in-one, so it has to have AC power plugged in.
jiggling doesn't seem to make it change.
I've tried on a circuit by itself. on a power strip. and on a battery backup that regulates the power. No difference. the power brick is a "Delta Electronics Inc." and not Lenovo branded, so it could be the brick going bad, possibly?
There is, but I can't get it to work, the screen is really hard to work with...Is there a way to hook up an additional monitor (some AIOs have this, some don't). If you can, does the flickering happen on the external monitor?
All in one, no charging. My question would be does the system charge okay? If no then I would suspect the adapter. If yes, it is most likely the driver and the LED or CCFL circuitry.
I agree. Calling to get confirmation to order, this feels like the problem.I bet the most likely cause is the converter board:
