label printer and cin7

G day all,

I have a customer using Sin7 and a Datamax E4204 label printer. I'm coming in after another tech has been in and I don't know the full story, I believe cin7 is new for them.

Anyway, they have the Datamax label printer which they use and print on stock which has 2 labels beside each other and continuous roll. The labels are 23mm high and 48mm wide and the stock width is a total of 100mm.

I have the driver set to detect the label spacing and can get the driver to print a test on the left hand side label. And this is what is happening from within Cin7, the print preview shows two labels side by side you click print and only the left label prints. I have tried setting the correct label size and setting as a full width of the stock to no avail.

Is this it? If so, their website seems to have a lot of info that might be able to help you. If not why not try emailing their Tech Support and describe the issue and see if they have any suggestions?

Check out the info on this site for their list of recommended printers for "Cin7" - could be that they will need to replace the one they currently have.

I know about the printers the Cin7 support (which I personally think is a joke), anyway, I haven't contacted Datamax yet.
