I'm the type of person that can't stick with one design and I'm always trying to change things. So here's the question. Should I stay with my current design or go with the new one? Ignore the peel in the top right on the old site, it'll be on both. Both sites were designed by me. All of the content will be the same for both. I'll just looking for opinions on design, not content.

I like the new site, with one minimal exception: The navigation bar and links don't stand out enough.

I know the links in the body need the color changed. As far as the navigation bar, do you mean the size, color or maybe just adding a drop shadow for them to stick out more? I need a little more info to go on. Thanks.

At first I was thinking changing the color, or making the text a little bigger. A drop shadow might be better, though.

I had the navigation bar bigger before but made it smaller because I thought it was too big and the text ran together. And that was before I added the "Your computer, your way". Here is how it would look with the drop shadow.

Navigation bar along the top looks good, I would try and get the rest of the logo's and boxes underneath the same size that would make the site more complete. Whenever I've done stuff which gets sent to the printers, my graphic designer always places a grid over the top and resizes and aligns things.

Apologies if this is just the template and you are going to remove the images but:

Try not to use images when tables/cells and text will produce exactly he same effect plus load up much quicker.

This one, lose the text within the image, change it to background and write in there.

Also, the navigation. Why not go for DHTML?, replacing the images but keeping the background image (tiling if possible)?

Having said that, I do prefer the look of this site. It's fresh. Well done. :)

I still have to do the final aligning adjustments. They should be pretty close. I don't think I'm going to change any of the sizes.

I did some aligning and add the drop-shadows to the navigation bar.

Edit: More small changes done. Changed link colors and lightened the background at the top.

Like I said before, it's not completely final. I know there are a few things I need to do. I'm trying to get the final look for now. Going back and changing those small things are easy.:p

I like the new site, have you looked at it printed out? The white lettering may not show on printout..In the design class I took it was stated better to have dark text on light background for printing purposes..

I like the new design, as well as the drop shadows on the links at the top. Your design is very nice, to be certain. Congratulations.

Thanks for all the replies and opinions. Looks like I'm going to go ahead with the new site. Now I have to setup the rest of the pages. I might have it setup by the end of this weekend.

i love how you have the free pc tips dotted on every page it shows you care about the customer and not just about there money.
