Jungle Disk recovery failure

I have a client for whom I installed a NAS to store her client files for her accountancy practice. She was already using Jungle Disk for backup, and wanted to keep using it for off-site redundancy. Any files backed up to JD from her own computer are restored with no problems, but the ones that were stored on the Synology NAS are corrupted and not able to be opened. I haven't visited yet to troubleshoot in person, but any thoughts on why this might be?

Thanks!
