Hi, thanks in advance for any replies.
My router died.
  • My ISP has changed my IP address and they could not find the pre-assigned static IP on record I have been paying for, for over a year.
I could not only not connect but could not see any router on the network.
Today I plugged the router back in, and hey presto all computers are now connected and everything works with a new router except...
Now I am stuck with an email server on 192.168.1.45 I cannot reach by pinging nor remote desktop into any-more.
I have a Motorola cable modem attached to a D-link DIR-600 wireless router. From there two separate cables are running into
1/ A 24 port fast Ethernet switch.
2/ My server that hosts my website and my email server.
Any ideas?

Not wanting to state the obvious but have you run the following on all attached machines.

ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns

As 14049752 says below, there isn't really a lot to go on here.

Also, have you forwarded the ports on the new router to the correct IP address?

Not enough information, either. What is the new IP range? Is it in the same subnet?

And not that it matters, but....Why? Why do you run your own web server? There are far less expensive options. Don't bother answering as that's really another topic and it's been covered before. Extensively.
