ISO keyboard and headset recommendations

Taking on a new weird client, my typing and headset times are about to quadruple. I think that a mechanical keyboard with MX Blue switches are going to work best for me, although brown might result in less fatigue.

I have no place I can test any out, no stores with options.

So far the Razor BlackWidow has my attention (the regular not the elite).

I will also need an over-ear, noise cancelling headset with mic. Comfort and dampening are priority over sound quality. So far the Steelseries V2 standard has my attention, I have handled but not worn this headset.

Any input on either is greatly appreciated. I also do online gaming but nothing especially "twitch."

I've used the Razer blackwidow at a customer's home, and it's a pretty decent keyboard. The 'clickyness' of the keys sort of gets to you after a while though.

Anyway, I took typing classes throughout highschool, and consider myself pretty decent; I average about 90 wpm. Anyway, I picked up a Logitech MK710 keyboard/mouse set last year, and I really like it. At first, the short-throw keys were a bit awkward, but after getting used to them, I can't see myself going back to a standard keyboard. They're pretty quiet, easy to press, and it's really a very well-built keyboard.

I have the black widow keyboard, and don't really like it much. Layout is kind of weird if you're used to a standard layout. I bought a filco majestouch ninja keyboard and its excellent. Not sure if it comes with blue switches though. I swapped out some of the black switches for browns, and its not a huge difference, wouldn't recommend browns really, not for lots of typing.

No idea on the headset though, I just have a cheap sennheiser one.
