Im actually considering this as it may be 7" but for the sake of 3" screen its a far superior tablet in comparison to the other 10" ones from the looks of it.

Also on multiple sites theyre on their 2nd and 3rd preorder loads.


Also whered u buy yours from? im trying to get it as cheap as possible so far its like 115gbp

Get yourself an HP touchpad. Install Android 2.3, Then, Install Google Apps & Market. You will be good to go. Everything works perfectly, including Market, Google Apps, Flash, and my videos.

It wasn't designed for a tablet but works perfectly on one. The one thing is you won't be able to use are any Android 3.0 Apps. But, for what you want to use it for will work flawlessly.

Unless you can get a Touchpad for the $99 or whatever they were a while ago, I still think it's worth saving the money and getting a tablet designed for Android. Pretty soon the EEE Transformer is going to be dropping in price because of the Transformer Prime release. On black friday, they were selling for as low as $250 some places. It's also going to get an upgrade to ICS.

You can still find the HP Touchpad as low as $150. They were discontinued. But, I agree though about the Transformer with the Prime release. I can't wait to get my Prime with Ice Cream Sandwich.

I've heard alot of the cheap tablets, also have their own private market and cannot access the Android Market with out rooting them.

The Novo 7 has market access already and will have android 4 in the next month or two. It currently has a beta released for it but not the full version.

I unfortunately bought a cherrypal cherrypad.
Worst POS I have ever had the mis-fortune of owning.

No Android market, stuck on Android 2.1 with no way to upgrade, no support from the company and a terrible screen.

On the plus side, it hasn't lost it's ROM and it does go each time I hit the power button.

I got one on craiglist for $125, then I ordered a 4gb sd card from ebay with real pure android, and then the machine boots from the sd card and you dont even have to see the B&N customized version.
Its as responsive as my google G2 tmobile phone, great for watching movies and checking out sport news

Sounds promising, which Android are you running? Is it possible to flash the ROM or can you only run from an SD card?

Can you get the full Android Market on it?

From what ive researched the ainol novo is the best budget tab on the market you can get them for 120 etc I paid that in pounds as it was a UK seller and I didnt want to risk import duties/tax and handling charges etc so figured if id end up potentially paying 120gbp anyway might as well do it first time around and get it from the UK for warranty and shizzle.
