Hi Nibblers, I know some of you still support clients who want to view their iCloud contacts/calendar in their Outlook. The iCloud for Windows works a lot better than the old clunky software, but for New Outlook, we have a built in winner.
Question for today!
Is iCloud for Windows compatible with New Outlook?
Answer! No but a good no.
New Outlook connects directly with iCloud so there is no need to download iCloud for Windows. One issue that I have seen often is that clients have the same email address for their iCloud as they do for their Microsoft 365 business or personal accounts. Microsoft will setup it’s own account first and that’s when my clients need to change their iCloud email address if they want it setup in New Outlook.
Just another little FYI for you.
Break/fix is not dead btw.
