Iphone 5S battery drain

Hello,

Iphone 5S battery goes empty fast. I put there new battery and reset the software. What else to try?

Goes empty I mean 60% is ~one hour later ~35% (without phone use, no sim, new software)

Was the new battery calibrated? I had an issue very similiar to this even on my 6S and after calibrating it I haven't had an issue since.

By reset software do you mean doing a nuke and pave? Or a restore from backup? I've seen many times where restoring from backup brings back problems.

Is the phone getting hot? Trying to isolate if it's really draining or you have a weak battery. To drain that fast with a good battery, you should be dissipating some heat. If it's not running hot then I'd suspect a weak battery. New batteries aren't always good batteries.
