IOBit accused of stealing Malwarebytes intellectual property

If true, you shouldn't use or recommend it, they may not be around much longer. The people at Malwarebytes are trying to get it de-listed at various download sites.

Good luck getting any justice out of a Chinese court. The ChiComs consider piracy an essential part of their secret war against the West and the US, so whenever a US company comes to them with proof of piracy the ChiComs blow the US company off. I hate to say that there's nothing Malwarebytes can do, but usually that's the case.

Maybe not legally but if its taken down of all the sites in the west, then flagged as a virus itself then hopefully justice will sort of be done.

Poor Malwarebytes. I just hope this doesn't have any negative effect on the end users (like us and our customers). As of now I am taking any IOBit software out of my toolkit and placing it in my blacklist of software to never use...sucks too because I love their Advanced SystemCare tool- oh well.
