Hi all, I picked up a nice HP All in One printer from the local charity shop for £10 but it does not print, though I believe the cartridges are not empty and that the problem lies with dried ink blocking the internals and I would like to open this thing up and clean it up with Isotopyl alcohol.

Are there any good picture/video guides on how to open up and internally clean "all in one" type printers?

I tried cleaning one with a kit I bought from Amazon but it wasn't successful. I just scrapped the printer. At the price you can buy them new it's not worth the effort.

As cheap as inkjets are, maintenance on them seems to be a waste, even for the $200+ inkjets that HP seems to be pushing out. Laserjets are a different matter. I wouldn't hesitate to drop an amount into even a 5 or 7 year old HP or Xerox if thats all it needed.
