Intel Proset 4965AGN on Vista will not connect to Jetpack 890L Verizon

Anyone figure out how to cure the problem on this type of setup not connecting wirelessly? I've updated drivers. Completely removed drivers. Removed all av. Even turned the mifi into a open network with just the ssid "Verizon" and it will not connect, but the computer will connect to my company wireless just fine and our phones here will connect to the mifi just fine.

Anyone know?

Are you using the intel wireless app or windows zero config?
