I suggest you google, and view the webcam at London's Abbey Road.

It is a popular tourist attraction, focused on the road (zebra) crossing, immortalised as an LP sleeve by the Beatles , and remembered for the lads striking a pose as they cross the road.

I find it hilarious, watching tourists taking photos of each other, making silly poses and narrowly avoiding passing traffic. In some cases, pissing them off.

Seriously, I've been watching it for the past half hour.

My daughter enquired what I was watching.

I explained.

She shouted the (now legendary) "I'm adopted", and walked out.

I'm currently watching a group wearing roller skates using ski sticks trying to cross. Brill.

Am wetting meself here. Too funny :)

If anyone can suggest any other worthwhile webcams, I'd appreciate it.

No can't think of any webcams but are any tourists trying for the Red Hot Chili Peppers version? Or is it still to cold atm, and people only attempt those shots when it's warmer?
 
Wow...for locals that need to drive that road, they must find that more annoying than drawbridges that go up randomly every hour. My horn would be well known in that area!

I'd actually have a lot of fun with my emergency brake.....creating a screeching sound from the rear tires which is quite ineffective at stoppage...yet would create very amusing looks of panic on the annoying tourists...LOL.

Oh, right, like you don't seek out webcams of famous and busy streets, put them on the big screen TV in the living room and watch it for hours every day while ignoring the increasingly frantic calls from your customers? I think we've all done that from time to time.

It's like having a famous celebrity live in your neighbourhood! Except he stands outside all day and his fans constantly get in your way when you go to work...

I'm surprised there is not a lot of road rage happening there. I've done a lot of driving in London and seen it kick off for less than that :D There sure are some short fuses around.:rolleyes:

Ok, slightly scary.

With an iphone, using apple maps, search for abbey road London, and use the 3d mode, you can rotate and zoom in/out of all the buildings

The detail us awesome.
 
Don't be so homophobic.

White lines should be allowed to express their sexuality like anyone else.

A friend tried snorting white lines once. He got run over by a lorry.
 
Seriously, they are queuing up to cross the crossing.

Some are even practicing the "Beatle Crossing Strut" whilst they wait.

I've just wet my pants laughing !
