This winter coldest ever recorded , record amount of snow, this spring coldest spring in recorded history no flowers, no insects trees are just starting to bud and temps are still in single digits -10 seasonal avg still have the heat turned on.
At this point if this keeps up we will not have a summer in next 50 years summer keeps starting later every year according to cycles of past about 350 years ago we had famine in Europe due to this cycle and in 50 years due again.
Where i live summers are shorter and cooler as each year passes also cloud cover here is insane don't see much sun compared to previous years 80's, 90's.

Garden centers here are suffering with this long cold spring still in single digits nobody is buying any plants or flowers heck the leaves are still not out and no wild flowers trees are still buds and there is still snow on the ground in some places.
June is not that far away still have not seen any flocks on way back yet and still have heat on and wearing winter jacket in mornings usually at this time of year leaves are out apple blossoms and may flies.

Climate change is already changing the earth many islands in the solomons are vanishing at an alarming rate decades not 100's or 1000's of years.

I wish we could just drop this topic entirely.

Wow June is almost here and still single digit temps at night/morning guess i will not need the AC on again this year still no apple blossoms no may flies no black flies or mosquitoes no moths or butterflies have not seen a single bee either.
Leaves and flowers are only at 50% of normal size for this time of year what ever regulates heat escaping from atmosphere seems to be not working well here at night temps drop fast soon as sun sets.
May also be due to Co2 emissions declining from the mining industry emissions have drop quite a lot past few years could have an impact on long terms temps here + Maunder Minimum.

I saw the breakdown for June... told my better half get the Christmas tree out we might as well set it up if we're going to freeze our ...

Freezing is right overnight temps here breaking records hit 2C this morning had to turn on the heat in June lol.
Day time temps are still off as well even birds are having problems over night temps go from 13c down to 5 many baby bird corpses all over they die and get kicked out the nest.
Whatever regulates night temps is broken here i don`t ever remember having to wear fall coat in mornings in June or temps hovering in low single digits every day in morning my sister is an avid Gardner she plants flowers and tomatoes and cucumbers beans this year she still has to wait because of frost there were a number of tornadoes in Ontario very unusual this time of year .

If the current climate model holds... Phoenix gets a whopping .5 degree hotter over the next century, but gets a bucket wetter. We're trading desert, for jungle...

I'm good! ;)

@Galdorf, that's actually normal... yet not.

The monsoon force creates massive high altitude thunder storms. If the wind gets strong enough, the temperatures in the tops of those storms can drop below freezing, and you end up with hail. And not just hail, but hail driven by hurricane force winds! Then, the storm throws it at you...

But 5 feet of it?!? That's never happened before as far as I know. But, this is what I was afraid of this year... this is evidence of what my clients are starting to call me paranoid for. Monsoon season is going to wreck AZ very soon.
