I think the RAM is bad in this machine. Opinions?

Actually it was the first thing I thought of then when I started reading the rest of the thread it just lost me. I usually run the bluescreenview to determine exactly whats causing the issue, if I need something more concrete I will target the RAM with PC Check Windows Diagnostic Tool. Glad you got it sorted.
 
I had a gut feeling it was the RAM from the beginning, like when you feel a hard drive isn't behaving correctly, but all tests show it's fine. I just haven't purchased any DDR4 RAM to have on hand for testing yet, or this would have been a much shorter process.

Yeah, like order some DDR4 to keep on hand. I recently ordered an m.2 adapter for a data transfer, so other than Apple specific adapters I am pretty much caught up on the hardware side.
