I. E. Password retriever

Have a customer that swears they have an att.net email but cannot login anymore. They called att and att said they have no record. Well, I pulled the i.e. history and can see that they did visit the att/yahoo email site over the last year.

Anyone know of a password/username retriever for internet explorer? I guess thats the best way of going about this. In the mean time I created a new gmail account for my client to use.

Their att.net email address should be on their phone bill. You can make sure they remember it correctly. Also has their full account number for password reset (if they remember the security question, lots of mine don't)

I ended up installing firefox for the client and had they been using it before it might have been easier to retrieve their username/password.

Thanks for all the hints everyone. What I found so weird is that I could see in the I.E. history dump that she had been accessing the website for att.net mail but att said "We have no record of your email address" on a phone conversation between client and att. I bounced an email to the "supposed" email address and it did fail as not a valid email address. Interesting but I just didnt have the time to investigate it further.

I didnt catch that! She is a really nice lady. You know, Since I started running the business I have run into some really funny stuff. I should post more of it in the forums here but I just dont have the time
