Yes used this the other day reset bios fine still trying to remove a damm password from harddrive though not having much look with that

how can you get to boot to CD before it ask for the password

If you can't get to bios to change boot order you can't.

If BIOS is password protected and the machine is not setup to boot
from CD first you have to remove the battery.

If it asks for password first and it's set up to boot from CD first, removing the CMOS battery is your only option.

Although, if you get a service manual for that model, there may be a special plug you can wire to attach to the parrallel port that will bypass the pasword prompt.
