HP ePrint with Officejet Pro 8600

I have a client who has a HP Pro 8600 at his vacation home. He is able to print to it from his PC computer at home. I did not set this up so I know nothing more that that.

I recently setup a Mac for him at home that he would also like to be able to print remotely to the OJ8600. I pulled the IP address of the printer from the driver on the PC, but when I add it to the Mac is doesn't find the printer.

Is there a way to do this without traveling to the remote location of the printer?

I'm fairly sure HP's ePrint works on emailed print jobs. You send an email to the printer's email address and whatever is attached prints out.

The PC has a normal printer driver and I looked at the port settings and it was a remote IP address, so I think it might not be using eprint. I will ask him if he knows.
