How Warm

TIL that women's core temperature is warmer than mens and so, to feel comfortable, they prefer an higher ambient temperature.

Right now, it is winter here.
The thermostat is set for 65 F.
The back of the house is warmer than the front.
We are about to sit down to eat in the dining room (with company) in the front of the house.
My BH is wearing a semi-warm winter coat and likes it that way.

I just converted 65F to Celsius: 18C! No wonder the wife is wearing her coat at the dinner table. I would, too.

Not in my house where a couple of degrees equates to a couple of hundred dollars a month in power bills.

I believe the Ferengi have the answer to that problem.

I had to look that up. I assume you're referring to the following excerpt from the wiki page:

"They are also known for their business acumen and for rampant misogyny, with wives obligated to remain naked and at home, and women sometimes forced into the sex trade."

This is not a desirable thing.... on a number of levels.....

We have our house at 21c for the winter, the wife and I are in the basement bedroom so it might be more like 20-19c but we keep each other to stay warm.

I do a bunch of smart home installs which include thermostat.

Customers are always asking me what they should set their house at. I always tell them it's personal preference and up to them

This is always followed by well what do you keep your house at? I always tell them 16 at night 19 during the day then they always go oh we will figure it out.
