How to setup broadband in Windows 98

One of my client has a old system and he is using windows 98 Operating System,recently he got an broadband connection but he is unable to setup the connection...He is not having ethernet card in his system nd so he bought a new one,Windows 98 is not plug and play,so pls tell me how to setup NIC and broadband..

Hi Mr.abe thanks for your fast response,Yes it comes wit a driver Cd, i will install d drivers..But how to setup broadband connection...Is it possible to setup Bridge Type connection or is it possible to setup PPPoE Connection??If Bridge type is possible how to create the dialer...???

If you install an Ethernet card all you typically need to do is to ensure DHCP is setup to the broadband router connection, if you are using a dial-up type broadband 'modem' then you will need to install and configure third-party dialer application specific to that modem's manufacturer and with the correct protocol (typically PPPoE or PPPoA), Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) and Virtual Circuit Identifier (VCI), and the correct encapsulation profile. These are provided by the ISP and are usually set by default in their dialer software version.
 
Thank you all...Router was given by BSNL and it is type I.Can someone suggest some dialer applications...
