[REQUEST] How to Open .dcr file

Does anyone know how to open a .dcr file? It was provided to one of our attorney clients from a police department and we are unable to open it. I'm not sure what the police department is using as we haven't heard back.

It's supposedly an audio recording, possibly video as well. We tried VLC, shockwave player, IE, Chrome. Nothing seems to be able to open it.

Sounds like a Adobe Shockwave file, ugh.

Thanks, my client was sent a link to this site: https://bisdigital.com/support/software/ we were able to open the file with DCR player.

If it's a legal thing, my guess is that it's a Digital Court Recorder file not a shockwave file. Tell your client to look at this website. https://bisdigital.com/
