How old is your computer? Not that old ...

I legit used to get this quite a bit until I really started asking more and more questions to down to the root of the answer lol.

Thankfully all I have seen now is pretty much Windows 10 and if it isn't then we are pushing them to it.

I've stopped asking as I don't think it's relevant. If the hardware inside (processor, ram etc) is capable of running Windows 10, then I generally stick an SSD inside and all is good.

However, if it's an old Vista machine thats been upgraded over the years, then I'll sell them a new machine

My computer that I am currently using (loaded with Linux Mint 18.3) was built on April 30, 2010. It's a Dell Precision (tower) T3400 that was originally a Core 2 Duo running @ 3.00 GHz (I believe.) I swapped out the CPU for a Quad Core @ 2.4 GHz and have been very happy with it ever since. It does everything I need it to do and couldn't be happier with it. I have a 500 GB spinner as my boot drive and a 2 TB spinner as my data drive. All is good here in Altster Land. ;)
