Be careful blowing out PSU's. I've blown a couple of motherboards over the years by not being thorough.

I use a kids paddling pool inflater to blow out systems, as opposed to a vacuum. you can manipulate the hose into tight corners, especially PSU vents.

Me and Mraikes are on the same schedule. If I have to crack the case, I'll probably clean it out then. If not, then god only knows how many little creatures have gone condo in there.

I seem to be far better at taking care of my customers machines than my own family's.

I have an atcs 840, I just pull out the dust filter and wipe it off.

small specs of dust get in through the edges of the drive but not enough to clean annually.

I usually advise my customers to have their towers cleaned every 6-12 months, yet the Win7 tower next to me hasn't been blown out since I got it, and that was a little over 2 years ago.

Guess I know what I'm doing tonight. :p

I can't vote - "When something inside breaks." isn't an option!

That's me too.

Years ago when I was big into building uber gaming systems....I'd be an anal freak about them and all sorts of super neat and organized inside.

Then you get married, divorced, married again, divorced, married yet again...kids...house, jobs, other hobbies, family time. At the office..it's all rush rush rush, no time for my stuff. So yeah...it'll sit for years without being cracked open and blown out. And yet...they still run just fine.

Once a year for me.

I just did a customers who had never done it in 7 years. WOW that was dirty. I don't have a air compressor (on the to-buy list) and canned air just was not going to cut it. So a big yellow Leaf blower did the job. We do it redneck around here. :D

My bench pc at the shop: Every month. It is a clear case so I can show customers what the inside of a pc looks like. My desktop at home, when it needs servicing. I do blow out every pc that comes across my bench. I just got one in from a garage, boy that was dirty...
