How do i remove a program

I installed KGB archiver as i needed it for a moment for a file and i have uninstalled the thing now and when i right click any of my files (on vista home premium btw) it comes up with the option "Compress to KGB" even though i have unistalled the software from my computer.

Does anyone know how i can get rid of these please,it doesn't even work because the software is uninstalled,it comes up with ".....application not found" because its unistalled.

The best uninstaller I have found is Revo Uninstaller. http://www.revouninstaller.com/

I would reinstall KGB and then use Revo to uninstall it. There's even a portable version of it.

Run regedit and navigate to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

find KGB on the list and delete it

Trick I use to uninstall unwanted softwares from registry

Either Universal Extractor and find out the Script to undo what was done or I use a program like Sandboxie install the applicatioin inside the virtual box to get all the modified keys to undo the job that has been done on a PC.

Real easy if you change the default Sandbox settings to accomodate for any user profile.

I usualy export the RegKey and modify it so that I can negate the items however I compare the regkey's to what is on the system already so any key that was there before won't get trashed...

What Chris said - all it has done is fail to remove an explorer context menu entry - no biggie.
