Here is my setup at home, Cable modem from Charter to a linksys wrt54G then from the router it goes to my dads computer and another cable goes back to my computer. Both wired computers are running XP
When I turn on my dads computer while my computer is up and connected to the internet his will not connect and vis virsa. But If I time it just right and restart the computers together they will both be able to connect untill one restarts the one that restatrts will not connect afterwards.
In this short time while both computers are on together it kills out the wireless to my blackberry.
Things I have done-
-UpgradedFirmware to DD-WRT 24 sp1
-Called charter to restet modem
-Did the 30-30-30 reset on router
-Bought new router (returned after it had the same issues)
-Did ipconfig /release /renew
-Changed Link Speed and Duplex
So from process of elimination I'm going to go ahead and say its most likely the cable modem giving me issues. Anyone have any other ideas?
