Really bad blizzard coming for the North East US starting Monday early afternoon through Wednesday. So things will be pretty dead Monday and probably totally dead until Thursday.

Predictions are 1-2 feet for parts of the area including Long Island, CT, NYC, MA. Some areas may get MORE snow.

I don't mind snow, but I hate blizzards.

I completely get you on this one. Will be doing lots of remote work and website conversions this week.
We have an advisory for 4-6 inches this afternoon. Welcome to Ohio!

Start selling UPS systems + wifi cards (so people can use their desktops with their phones in hotspot mode)....

Good luck!

Hopefully the electricity won't go out in your area.

I got a feeling its gonna happen, the 4pm update doesn't look good:

"ACCUMULATIONS... SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 20 TO 30 INCHES... WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. SNOWFALL RATES OF 2 TO 4 INCHES PER HOUR EXPECTED LATE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY MORNING.. WINDS... NORTH 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS 55 TO 65 MPH"

Yay....

Great when America sneezes Britian catches a cold! We are supposed to be getting the remains of this by Wednesday, lots of snow and wind apparently but snow in south Manchester is usually nothing more than a bit of sleet.

I am with you Jimbo! Even the electronic signs on the high are warning about it. Though i have been so busy i could use the break!

And out here in the Midwest we are at a balmy 35 degrees, supposed to be highs in the 40s most of the week.

From what I saw Friday, it should pretty much miss the finger lakes region.

Edit - Apparently we are supposed to get 3-8 inches wednesday.

Central Coastal New Jersey here. I have a couple jobs tomorrow should be able to get through the day before the main **** show starts. Although it's already coming down right now.....

We've been lucky this winter in north east Maryland with regards to snow. I love snow but only when it doesn't effect me making money and when it doesn't cost me money to have it moved. We might get 3-6" with wind. You all up north can have the 1-2'.

We got a good amount of snow today. I feel like I'll have a bunch of calls reminding managers how to work from home :P (maybe I should lol)

High today is going to be 70 here. 20-30 inches of snow? Holy frak! I've never lived anywhere where that was any kind of problem. How the heck do you handle it and stay warm if the electricity goes out?

Well, it's begun. The wind is really the bad thing so far, horizontal snow blasting your face, you cant breath when you walk.

What's funny is that I've had 4 drop offs right after I opened, people were running out to get supplies before the storm and decided to drop off their machines.

Maybe I should put a new sign outside before every storm

"We sell milk, bread, rock salt and fix computers !"

That should bring them in.
