Is anyone using the Helpwire App, so far so good but i have recently found that it takes multiple attempts to connect usually about 3 ad then it's away. I used to use anydesk but then there were some security issues awhile back and Atera blocked it and during this period i trialed helpwire.

It's always good to know form other user's experiences whether something is a good option or not!

Never heard of Helpwire. For my business I have a selfhosted SimpleHelp server with 2 seats. Costs though - like 700 for both. But that's it. It does include 1 year one year updates. The only problem I've noticed is macOS machines started having issues after a couple of years. But I'm on a new license so should be good there for a while.

For one off's I use SimpleHelp non-persistent or Anydesk. Many here has some kind of RMM which usually has a remote access tool included.

Yep - there's lots of different remote support options out there - i remember using a custom version of vnc back in the early days, but programs have gotten far superior
