Ever wonder how a hard drive splits the data between heads? I've just posted a blog on my site where I plan to post images showing several different head configurations. For now I have posted an image of a drive with 2 heads and a drive with 6 heads.
This is an image of two heads, green being head 0 and white being head 1.
