What customer niches has everyone had the most success with? For me it's been work-from-home small businesses and solo-preneurs. These folks often have the needs of a full-blow small business, but need affordable and flexible solutions for the home office. Great opportunity for techs like us to set them up on the right path.

You are actually right on there. Lot of elderly folks in my town, they call for services, usually don't question pricing, pay their bill, and are loyal, in other words once they know who you are, that's usually the only person they will call if you do a good job. You need patience somewhat, but they talk a lot too. I've gotten numerous referrals from older folks talking to their friends.

I'm going to bookmark this to listen later on.

Generally I find the elderly are excellent customers. Once you've shown them you're the best, they will stay loyal and will recommend you to everyone.

I have had great success with older residential, customers. They appreciate the service and explaining what's the problem in plain English.

As has been said they pay for the service and don't argue over a few £ or pence.

Best of all youngest referrals to all their friends and they call you again if they have issues.

Also they are interesting to talk too while working.

I love working for older people. They always have good stories to tell. I love to listen. There is a saying where I live, St. Petersburg, Fl, All the people here are newlywed or nearly dead.

Senior citizens have been most of the ones who attend my free classes at the library, and some of my best paying customers. Not to mention that they are loyal. They are great, and make me laugh.
