Google+ invites... anyone?

I don't post as much as I would like, so I feel a bit cheeky asking for an invite...

Just want to know if it's any good, really?

Not sure if Google have cottened on to what is happening but i get this when I go to comment on Xanders post:

Google dropped their invites... so all can now sit and rest and not worry about it anymore... They can't handle the demand atm.

They did not, however, drop the ability to share articles with non-members and, by virtue of that, have Google invite them for you.

you can format text in Google+ comments and posts with *text* for bold, -text- for strike through and _text_ for italic.

FB chat allows the same but I think _text_ would be for underline and try /text/ for italics.

thanks, i did Google it several times before i asked, honest, and could not find anything. maybe too little asleep.

It seems now you don't need an invite to join. just http://plus.google.com
