Good tool to split 75 gigs into 4.7 GB isos / folders?

DriveimageXML will split its image up in to 700Mb chunks.
Ah, I only want to back up a user profile. Not to mention, this is a Mac so I need to specify a folder on an external hard drive. Sorry, didn't think about being specific, guess that would be a good idea.

NTFS write support isn't there in OS X. You can enable it with third party stuff.

For this sort of thing I use something like (Win)RAR to create chunks of 700MB (6 of them fit nicely on a DVD).

Using an archiver is a neat way to:
- divide the data in chunks
- ensure the data is correct
- store all meta-data (if required)
- add parity/repair data to counter storage media issues
- reduce the number of disks you need to burn
