If I have a site and I use paypal for credit card payments. Is the connection secure? I know what SSL are used for but since the service is really a re-direct (I am guessing here) to paypal is SSL still needed?
Cool. Right now I am using free hosting (yola.com but my own domain name) because I am broke and dont have the extra money. Anyways, if I got ssl could I implement it or do I actually need a real website?
I think ssl is not needed for forms that require names and email addresses, but for forms that require passwords, home addresses, cc numbers, phone numbers and other personal info it's absolutely needed. Your terms and/or privacy policy should also explain what is and isn't secure. That's my opinion.

Too bad there isn't a deal for the UCC SSL's. I recently purchased a 5 year UCC SSL for a client and it was pretty expensive, but I did save 20% with a coupon code.
