ive spent the last couple weeks beating on Go to Assist Express and Teamviewer.
i really like both of them used GTA free trial for a couple paid calls, and took a look at grandma's computer and a aunt's computer with team viewer.
thanks to various deals i can get 1 year of GTA for about the same price as a lifetime licence of team viewer 6.
im leaning towards team viewer 6 because i doubt that year 2 of GTA will be the same low price as year 1. and team viewer's upgrade prices are fixed, seem to be fairly reasonable, and would almost certainly cost less than year 2 or 3 of GTA.
am i missing anything? i feel fairly comfortable with the way both of them work. but am leaning towards team viewer due to lower and more predictable future costs.
also i will have to check with my accountant but i think being that i am purchasing actual software rather than a subscription i can claim depreciation for team viewer on my taxes.
