ive spent the last couple weeks beating on Go to Assist Express and Teamviewer.

i really like both of them used GTA free trial for a couple paid calls, and took a look at grandma's computer and a aunt's computer with team viewer.

thanks to various deals i can get 1 year of GTA for about the same price as a lifetime licence of team viewer 6.

im leaning towards team viewer 6 because i doubt that year 2 of GTA will be the same low price as year 1. and team viewer's upgrade prices are fixed, seem to be fairly reasonable, and would almost certainly cost less than year 2 or 3 of GTA.

am i missing anything? i feel fairly comfortable with the way both of them work. but am leaning towards team viewer due to lower and more predictable future costs.

also i will have to check with my accountant but i think being that i am purchasing actual software rather than a subscription i can claim depreciation for team viewer on my taxes.

how does teamviewer handle dual monitors?

I guess I mean in comparison to GTA.

GTA allows you to switch between them. How does TV display them?

I recently used Teamviewer on a dual monitor system & it worked great. It has a dual monitor button at the top right that you click to toggle screens. The more I use Teamviewer the more impressed I am with it. I'm having a harder & harder time wanting to use UltraVNC SingleClick anymore.

I use TeamViewer everyday. LOVE IT. Will never switch. I have a license to GoTo Assist and I don't even use it anymore because TeamViewer blows it away. Dual monitors are awesome on TeamViewer as well! Just make sure you ask the user if they have dual monitors, because I spent 5 minutes wondering why when I clicked Internet Explorer, where the heck was it popping up!!?? lol

TeamViewer All The Way!

I use TeamViewer every day also. Its the best one I have used so far. The combination of ease of use, affordability, and it being updated often with new features is a winner with me.

For me i go with Team viewer, the only downside i see no app for blackberry yet,

but excelent product, its great. like tony the tiger says.:D

I use go to assist they have a very easy to use interface and I don't know if u can do this with teamviewer but gta allows u to reboot and reboot into safe mode and not loose connectivity.

Sent from my Android Thunderbolt.

Teamviewer does indeed allow you to reboot and reconnect in safe mode.
